I have to report to Your Lordship that in face of recent legislation Ordinance, the vessel did not drop anchor in this Harbor, but proceeded at once to Macao.

I have the honor to report that the Spanish Steamer "Pat chaj" arrived here this day at 11 A.M.
She was immediately boarded by Mr. Sampson, the Boarding Officer.
The "Pat chaj" is from Liverpool, which Port she left on the 11th March. Mr. Menser is a passenger by her. She has a cargo of coal, a great portion of which has been transshipped.
